Job Title: Inventory Manager

Job Purpose
- The Inventory Manager is responsible for managing the company’s inventory and warehouse operations, ensuring accurate stock records, proper documentation, efficient stock movement, and timely availability of materials for projects and operations.
Key Responsibilities - Manage daily receipt, storage, issuance, and transfer of inventory.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records and documentation.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of critical materials.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Track all stock movements using approved inventory systems and documentation.
- Ensure proper identification, labelling, storage, and handling of materials.
- Prepare inventory reports and provide accurate stock information to management.
- Monitor slow-moving, damaged, obsolete, and frequently used materials.
- Work closely with Procurement, Finance, Engineering, and Operations teams to coordinate material requirements.
- Ensure proper documentation for goods received, issued, returned, transferred, or damaged.
- Establish and maintain effective inventory control procedures to minimise losses and stock discrepancies.
- Ensure the warehouse is organised, secure, and compliant with company procedures.
KPIs - Inventory accuracy.
- Stock variance / discrepancy rate.
- Documentation accuracy.
- Stock availability.
- Stock count/reconciliation accuracy.
- Inventory loss / damage.
- Timeliness of inventory reports.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience: - HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Inventory Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory or warehouse management.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, stock reconciliation, and documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory / ERP systems.
- Experience managing technical materials, electrical equipment, solar components, or engineering materials is an advantage.
