Job Summary

  • The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales and marketing initiatives to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and enhance the Company’s brand visibility.
  • The role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, supervising sales teams, and ensuring effective promotion of the Company’s agricultural products and services.
    Key Responsibilities
    Sales Management:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and customer segments.
  • Manage key client accounts and maintain strong long-term business relationships.
  • Monitor sales performance and prepare periodic sales reports for management review.
  • Coordinate negotiations and close high-value deals with clients and partners.
    Marketing Strategy & Execution:
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing plans (digital, print, and field marketing).
  • Oversee brand positioning and ensure consistent corporate messaging.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
  • Manage promotional campaigns, product launches, and advertising initiatives.
  • Supervise social media and digital marketing activities.
    Team Leadership & Coordination:
  • Lead, train, and supervise the sales and marketing team.
  • Set performance targets and monitor team productivity.
  • Ensure alignment between sales operations and marketing strategies.
    Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
    Reporting & Administration:
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales and marketing reports.
  • Track sales performance against targets and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, conversions, and marketing activities.
    Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Agriculture, or related fields.
  • 5–7 years proven experience in sales and marketing (agricultural sector experience is an advantage).
  • Strong understanding of sales strategy development and market analysis.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital marketing tools.

    Salary
    N200,000 – N400,000 per month.
