Job Summary

• MRT Net Solutions Ltd is seeking a technology-inclined Development Officer to support the Senior Development Officer in maintaining, testing and improving MRT’s software products.
• The successful candidate must be willing to learn and capable of supporting software development, debugging, documentation and system maintenance.
  Responsibilities
• Support the development and maintenance of MRT’s software products.
• Assist with developing and updating application features.
• Test products and document identified errors and performance issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic software problems.
• Support database, API and system-integration activities.
• Assist with product updates, deployments and version releases.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation.
• Use version-control systems to manage development work.
• Complete development assignments from the Senior Development Officer.
• Provide technical support to the Project Delivery team.
• Research technical solutions and possible product improvements.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and quality-assurance activities.
• Provide timely reports on assigned development tasks.
  Requirements
• B.Sc Degree or HND in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• One to three years’ relevant software or product-development experience.
• Understanding of programming, databases and application development.
• Basic knowledge of APIs and system integrations.
• Ability to test, debug and document software applications.
• Familiarity with Git or another version-control system.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and work closely with a senior developer.
• Good communication, teamwork and time-management skills.
  Salary
  N150,000 – N200,000 monthly.
