Job Summary

  • We are looking for a contract Communications Senior Analyst to collaborate with the Communications Lead in executing Helium Health’s internal and external communications strategy.
  • The role will have a particular focus on HeliumCare, while also supporting broader corporate communications, brand, media relations, and internal communications across Helium Health.
    Key Responsibilities
    Communications & Content:
  • Support the execution of Helium Health’s internal and external communications strategy across key channels.
  • Develop clear, engaging, and audience-appropriate content for Helium Health and its products, with a strong focus on HeliumCare and its public health impact.
  • Translate complex healthcare, technology, and programme information into compelling and accessible communications.
  • Ensure consistency of messaging and brand voice across communications materials and channels.
  • Support the development of communications materials including newsletters, announcements, presentations, social content, articles, and thought leadership pieces.
    HeliumCare Communications:
  • Lead day-to-day communications support for HeliumCare, working closely with programme and business teams to identify stories, milestones, impact, and opportunities for visibility.
  • Develop and execute content and campaigns that increase awareness of HeliumCare and its programmes among government, funders, NGOs, healthcare stakeholders, communities, and other partners.
  • Support communications around public health programmes, events, community activities, partnerships, and programme outcomes.
  • Develop compelling stories and impact narratives that strengthen HeliumCare’s visibility and credibility in the public health space.
    Brand & Public Relations: 
  • Support Helium Health’s brand voice and ensure brand consistency across internal and external communications.
  • Support media relations, PR activities, and engagement with media, influencers, partners, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Support leadership with speaking engagements, presentations, talking points, and external communications.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen Helium Health and HeliumCare’s visibility and thought leadership.
    Internal Communications:
  • Support the development and execution of internal communications across newsletters, emails, announcements, and other employee channels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and leadership to ensure employees are informed and aligned on key company priorities, initiatives, and milestones.
  • Monitor engagement and feedback across internal communication channels and recommend improvements.
    Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, journalism, marketing communications, or a related field.
  • Experience across internal and external communications, preferably in-house or within an agency environment.
  • Strong writing, editing, storytelling, and business/corporate communication skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex healthcare, technology, or public health topics for different audiences.
  • Experience developing content for multiple channels, including digital and social media.
  • Experience supporting PR, media relations, events, and stakeholder communications.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build effective relationships across different levels of an organisation.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
    Nice to Have:
  • Experience in HealthTech, healthcare, public health, global health, NGO, or development organisations.
  • Experience with grant-funded programmes, donor communications, or development-sector reporting.
  • Experience developing thought leadership and executive communications.
  • Experience with content design tools such as Canva, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with social media management and digital campaigns.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered content and communications tools.
