Job Title: Rewards & Anlaytics Advisor
Location: Oshodi – Isolo, Lagos
Job Purpose
- To manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant payment of employee compensation and benefits, while supporting the
- Rewards function through compensation analysis, market benchmarking, reporting and analytics.
Key Responsibilities - Own and manage the end-to-end monthly payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries, bonuses, final entitlements and other employee payments.
- Validate payroll inputs and employee movements, reconcile payroll, investigate variances and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure timely statutory remittances, effective payroll controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll and compensation data on the HRIS, ensuring appropriate documentation, data integrity and confidentiality.
- Manage payroll-related employee queries, payslip distribution, employee exit payments and coordination with Finance, IT and other stakeholders, including reconciliation of outsourced employee bills.
- Coordinate and provide analytical support for annual pay reviews, bonus and recognition programmes and other compensation initiatives.
- Support compensation surveys, market benchmarking and reward analysis to inform salary reviews, promotions, new hires and other pay decisions.
- Maintain and monitor pay structures and compensation data to support internal equity and market competitiveness.
- Prepare and maintain accurate monthly and quarterly HR, Rewards and people cost reports and dashboards.
- Analyse payroll and reward data to identify trends, anomalies and cost drivers and provide insights to support management decision-making.
- Support workforce and people cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting and the implementation of
- Rewards policies, processes and projects.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve, automate and strengthen payroll, reporting and
- Rewards processes.
- Supervise, coach and develop the Payroll Officer, allocating work and reviewing output to ensure accuracy, timeliness and adherence to payroll controls.
Requirements
Education & Experience: - B.Sc / HND
- 4 years’ experience in payroll, with exposure to Compensation & Benefits/Rewards, preferably in an FMCG environment.
Knowledge & Skills: - Strong numerical, analytical and data interpretation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems
- Good knowledge of Nigerian labour and statutory requirements
- Strong reporting, presentation and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
