Job Title: Warehouse Operator

Location: Kano
Overall Mission
General objective:

• The Warehouse Operator is responsible for the efficient handling, storage, and movement of raw materials, packaging, finished goods, and consumables within the warehouse.
• The role supports NutriK FZE’s manufacturing operations by ensuring materials are accurately received, stored, issued, and recorded in compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and quality requirements.
  Responsibilities and Tasks
  Main Responsibilities:
• Prepare and issue raw materials and packaging materials to production as per authorized requests.
• Pick, pack, and stage finished goods for dispatch
• Accurately record all warehouse transactions in stock cards or ERP systems.
• Conduct regular stock counts and participate in periodic inventory audits.
• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety within the warehouse always.
• Handle materials using appropriate equipment while complying with safety procedures.
• Report damaged, expired, or non-conforming materials to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Support compliance with quality, food safety, and company policies
• Perform any other warehouse-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.
  Requirements
• Education Degree – Minimum of secondary school education
• Work experience – 1–2 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment. Basic knowledge of inventory control and warehouse practices
• Language skills – English.
• Computer skills – N/A
  Other required skills:
• Basic warehouse and inventory management principles
• Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements
• FIFO / FEFO principles
• Basic documentation and record‑keeping
• Accurately receive, store, and issue materials
• Use basic warehouse tools and equipment (pallet jacks, weighing scales, scanners if applicable)
• Complete stock records and delivery documentation
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
