About the Role
The Club Lagos LA and TaxBox Refund are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support the CEO with administrative, research, communication, and operational tasks. This role is ideal for a resourceful professional who excels at finding information quickly, communicating clearly, and managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced remote environment.

The successful candidate will serve as a key support partner to the CEO, helping to improve productivity, manage priorities, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations across both businesses.

Key Responsibilities
Executive Support

  • Manage the CEO’s calendar, appointments, meetings, and reminders.
  • Coordinate schedules across multiple time zones when required.
  • Organize and maintain documents, reports, and digital files.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take notes, and follow up on action items.
  • Handle administrative and operational tasks assigned by the CEO.

Research & Analysis

  • Conduct in-depth online research on business opportunities, market trends, competitors, vendors, products, and services.
  • Gather, analyze, and summarize information into clear reports and presentations.
  • Identify potential partnerships, leads, and business opportunities.
  • Assist with research for strategic business decisions and special projects.

Communication & Coordination

  • Draft professional emails, letters, reports, and other business correspondence.
  • Communicate with clients, partners, vendors, and stakeholders on behalf of the CEO when required.
  • Follow up on outstanding tasks, projects, and communications.
  • Maintain a professional and polished communication style at all times.

Project & Task Management

  • Track ongoing projects and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors.
  • Assist with workflow management and process improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor assigned tasks and provide regular status updates to the CEO.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Nigeria.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Virtual Assistant, Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or similar role.
  • Exceptional online research and information-gathering skills.
  • Strong spoken and written English with a clear, professional, and neutral accent suitable for international communication.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote work setup.

Technical Skills
Experience with some or all of the following is preferred:

  • Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Drive)
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Zoom, Google Meet, and other video conferencing tools
  • Trello, ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com, or similar project management tools
  • Slack and other communication platforms
  • Basic AI tools such as ChatGPT and research automation tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting executives, founders, or CEOs.
  • Experience working with international teams or clients.
  • Strong report-writing and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with business operations, customer support, marketing, or administrative processes.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
