Job Summary
- We are currently looking to engage a highly competent and result-orientedSenior Specialist, Learning Media Producer (Instructional-Media Specialist) with strong personal & professional integrity to join our dynamic team in the Nile Digital Education Department.
- The Senior Specialist, Learning Media Producer (Instructional-Media Specialist) will lead the planning, production, and post-production of high-quality multimedia learning assets (video, audio, animation, and interactive media) that bring instructional design scripts to life and support measurable learning outcomes.
Responsibilities - Plan, storyboard, film, record, and edit instructional videos, screencasts, podcasts, and micro-learning media.
- Produce motion graphics, animation, and voiceover work that align with instructional objectives.
- Partner with Learning Designers and Subject Matter Experts to translate scripts and storyboards into engaging media.
- Own the full production pipeline: pre-production planning, filming/recording, editing, review, and final delivery.
- Maintain and evolve the media asset library, brand style guide, and production standards.
- Optimize media files for LMS/platform delivery, including compression, captions, and transcripts.
- Ensure all media meets accessibility standards (captioning, alt-text, WCAG compliance).
- Track emerging trends in e-learning media (interactive video, AR/VR, gamified media) and recommend adoption.
- Mentor junior media producers and provide quality assurance review on team output.
- Manage freelance/vendor relationships for specialized production needs.
- Translate learning objectives and instructional designs into engaging visual and audio experiences.
- Record and edit lectures, demonstrations, interviews and instructional materials.
- Ensure all media assets comply with institutional branding and copyright requirements.
Educational and Professional Qualification(s) required for this position - Bachelor’s Degree in Media Production, Film, Instructional Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in video / media production, including at least 2 years in e-learning or instructional media.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, and Photoshop / Illustrator.
- Working knowledge of e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate 360 or Camtasia.
- Solid grounding in instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards for digital learning media.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end instructional media production.
