Job Title: Quality Specialist

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Description

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Healthcare Quality Specialist to lead quality improvement initiatives, promote patient safety, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulatory requirements.
  • The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong analytical skills, a commitment to continuous quality improvement, and the ability to drive clinical excellence through data analysis, clinical audits, performance monitoring, and the implementation of evidence-based quality management strategies that enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
    Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Medicine, or another relevant healthcare discipline; Registered Nurse (RN) or Medical Doctor (MBBS/MD) is preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in healthcare quality management, clinical governance, patient safety, accreditation, or a related clinical role.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare quality standards, clinical governance principles, regulatory requirements, and quality improvement methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting clinical audits, analyzing healthcare data, identifying quality gaps, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Sound clinical judgment with the ability to evaluate patient care processes, interpret clinical indicators, and make evidence-based recommendations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and report-writing skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare data management tools.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams while working with minimal supervision.
