Job Summary

• The Centre for the Study of the Economies of Africa (CSEA) is looking for a motivated and experienced Programme Manager to join our team and lead the implementation of TCDI 2.0 across seven African countries.
• Through the Tobacco Control Data Initiative, we are working to improve access to country-specific data to drive smarter public health decisions across sub-Saharan Africa.

What You Will Do

• Manage cross-country implementation of TCDI 2.0.
• Build and maintain partnerships with governments, CSOs, and academia.
• Drivethe  uptake of data-driven tobacco control policies
• Lead government engagement and support strategic capacity building.

What We Are Looking For

• Master’s degree in Social Sciences
• 8+ years of project management experience in international development.
• Experience working in the Global South, especially Sub-Saharan Africa.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to manage diverse, remote teams.
