We are  recruiting to fill the position below:

 Job Title: IT Support Executive

Location: Yaba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary 

  • The IT Support Executive will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless system operations, and driving technology improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • This role requires proactive problem-solving, a strong understanding of IT systems, and effective collaboration with various departments.
    Duties & Responsibilities
    IT Infrastructure Management:
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems.
  • Monitor and maintain servers, networks, and workstations to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Ensure data backups, disaster recovery systems, and security protocols are active and functional.
    Technical Support:
  • Provide technical support to staff, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Manage IT helpdesk operations and respond to support tickets/queries promptly.
  • Train employees on the effective use of technology tools, hardware, and business software.
    System Optimization & Upgrades:
  • Identify opportunities for system enhancements and execute upgrades to improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with vendors to procure, install, and configure new systems, hardware, and software licenses.
  • Ensure all systems and business applications remain updated, patched, and running smoothly.
    Network & Security Management:
  • Monitor network performance, bandwidth, and ensure secure access to company systems.
  • Implement cybersecurity measures to protect company infrastructure against data breaches, malware, and cyber threats.
  • Regularly review and update IT security policies, access controls, and protocols.
    Data Management & Reporting:
  • Maintain company database systems, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Generate technical reports and analytics to support management decision-making.
  • Administer and maintain cloud-based applications and collaborative platforms.
    Process Improvement:
  • Evaluate existing IT infrastructure workflows and recommend enhancements to boost organizational productivity.
  • Support the implementation of automated processes to streamline repetitive tasks.
    Compliance & Documentation:
  • Ensure IT operations comply with relevant statutory data protection, security regulations, and industry standards.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive IT documentation, including standard operating procedures, policies, and user manuals.
    Educational Qualifications, Experience & Requirements
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of proven experience in IT support, infrastructure management, or a comparable technical role.
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems administration, network protocols, and cybersecurity principles.
  • Proficiency in system administration utilities, ERP software, and cloud-based services.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple technical projects, and meet operational deadlines.
