Job Title: HR Business Partner
Location: SSC P-Numan, Adamawa
Job Summary
- To ensure continuous availability of manpower, rapid operational response and cost-effective workforce management across DSR Numan’s critical operations.
- Support supervisors and managers in real-time workforce decisions, enforce discipline, attendance and performance standards consistently.
- Ensure manpower is available whenever operations demand it.
Key Duties and Responsibilities - Strategic HR Partnership: -Act as a HR advisor to assigned department leadership, translate business and production goals into workforces plans and support organizational change restructuring and productivity initiatives.
- Workforce Planning & Recruitment: – Plan manpower needs for production, operation, maintenance and technical roles. Ensure timely recruitment and onboarding of newly employed staff of your assigned department.
- Employee Relation & Compliance: – Manage disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution within the department. Ensure compliance with labour laws, union agreements and company policies.
- Performance Management: -Drive performance reviews cycles for the staff in the department, train line managers on performance management and support development plans for high performer and critical roles.
- Learning & Development: – Identify skill & technical gaps and liaise with the training manager to coordinate trainings.
- HR Operations & Reporting: – Analyse HR Metrics (Turnover, absenteeism, overtime, Safety and headcount. Prepares workforce and compliance reports for management.
- Engagement, Culture & Wellbeing: – Lead employee engagement initiative of the assigned department. Promote safe, inclusive and productive workplace culture. Support wellbeing, attendance management and retention strategies.
Educational Qualification and Work Experience - Freelancework opportunities
- Shall hold the minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business or any related fields
- Any relevant Professional Certification is an added advantage (preferable CIPMN).
- Minimum 5 years as a HRBP or HR Generalist in industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of labour laws, industrial relations and factory operations. Experience working with Unions.
