Description

• Veycl is looking for a research-driven Content Writer to shape the words that guide people through some of the biggest decisions of their lives. You’ll edit drafts into accurate, publish-ready content for veycl.com.
• Every fact you confirm helps someone make a safer, smarter move across borders.
• You will edit articles and refine them into accurate, well-researched, publish-ready content. This means verifying every figure, checking every policy detail, and confirming every claim before it goes live. You’ll also flag opportunities to elevate strong posts into full visa guides or travel guides.
  Key Responsibilities
• Edit and refine drafts for accuracy, clarity, and tone
  Confirm all data points, figures, and facts against primary sources
• Conduct independent research to fill gaps or verify claims
• Generate content ideas based on trending immigration topics and user needs
• Optimise every article for SEO (keywords, structure, metadata)
• Monitor content performance data to refine future topics and formats
• Publish content directly to veycl.com
• Flag new visa or immigration policy updates to the Content Manager as you research
• Recommend which posts should be upgraded to a Visa Guide or General Travel Guide
• Turn dry updates into engaging stories where possible
  Performance Metrics & KPIs
• Number of posts published per day
• Search traffic generated per article
• Comments and shares per post
• Accuracy rate (few to zero factual corrections post-publish)
• Number of valuable policy flags raised to the Content Manager
  What Success Looks Like
• At 90 days: You’re publishing consistently, your fact-checking is watertight, and your first few SEO-optimised pieces are gaining traction.
• At 1 year: Your articles are a trusted, recognisable part of Veycl’s content. You’ve flagged real policy changes that shaped our coverage. Several of your posts have been upgraded into full guides.
  Skills & Competencies Required
  Must-have:
• Strong research skills. You verify before you publish
• SEO knowledge (on-page optimisation, keyword strategy)
• 5+ years of professional writing experience
• 2+ years writing for a travel or immigration-focused blog or platform
• Portfolio of published work required
• Minimum qualification: HND or equivalent
  Nice-to-have:
• Ability to turn a policy update into a compelling story
• Existing knowledge of the travel and immigration sector
• Experience with SEO tools and analytics platforms (e.g. RankMath, Google Analytics, Ahrefs) to report on content impact
