 Job Title: Fraud & Reconciliation Officer

Location: Lagos (Fully Remote)

Description

• Are you experienced in Fintech, Payments, or Financial Services and passionate about fraud prevention and transaction accuracy? We’d love to hear from you!
  Key Responsibilities
• Monitor transactions and identify suspicious or fraudulent activities
• Investigate fraud cases, chargebacks, and disputed transactions
• Conduct KYC reviews and customer due diligence checks
• Track fraud trends and recommend risk control measures
• Manage daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations across banks, payment partners, and internal systems
• Resolve settlement discrepancies, failed transactions, and reconciliation breaks
• Prepare reconciliation reports, exception logs, and settlement summaries
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Product, and external partners to resolve transaction issues
  Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Fintech, Payments, or Financial Services environment (mandatory)
• Experience in Fraud, Reconciliation, Risk, or Finance Operations
• Strong understanding of fraud monitoring, KYC/AML, and reconciliation processes
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
  Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills
  Added Advantage:
• Experience with card products, banking integrations, or digital financial services
• Knowledge of SQL, Metabase, or similar reporting tools
• Relevant certifications in Fraud, Risk, AML, or Accounting
