We are  recruiting to fill the position below:

 Job Title: Service Technician

Location: Office & Project Sites, Edo
Employment Type: Full-time
Department: Field Operations / Service
Reports To: Service Manager / Operations Manager
Job Purpose

  • The Service Technician is responsible for the installation, inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of solar power systems, inverters, batteries, and related electrical equipment to ensure reliable system performance and customer satisfaction.
    Key Responsibilities
  • Install, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, and related equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and system faults efficiently.
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on installed systems.
  • Respond to customer service requests and attend to system breakdowns.
  • Perform system testing and ensure equipment operates according to specifications.
  • Carry out site visits, fault assessments, and repair works.
  • Prepare service reports and document faults, repairs, and replacement parts.
  • Work with the  Engineering and Operations teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure all service activities comply with safety procedures and technical standards.
  • Maintain proper use and care of company tools and equipment.
    Qualifications & Experience
  • HND/B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering,
  • Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Renewable
  • Energy, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in solar installation, maintenance, or electrical systems.
  • Practical knowledge of solar inverters, batteries, PV modules, and electrical protection systems.
  • Ability to use electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
  • Solar installation or technical certification is an advantage.

    Working Conditions:
  • The role involves regular travel to customer sites, project locations, and remote installations and requires hands-on field work.
    Salary
    N150,000 – N200,000 monthly.
