 Job Title: Senior Engineer, Internal Tools

Location: Lekki, Lagos
The Role

• We are looking for a pragmatic Senior Engineer to build the internal ‘Backoffice’ Admin UI.
  Your work will directly empower our Ops, Risk, and Customer Support teams, providing them with the necessary tools to resolve disputes, manually override KYC, and view transaction trails without relying on engineers to run SQL queries.
• The ideal candidate prioritizes speed-to-delivery and functional utility over pixel-perfect UIs and possesses a strong understanding of internal security, particularly Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
  Responsibilities include but are not limited to
• Design and build the Backoffice Admin UI to serve internal teams (Ops, Risk, Customer Support)
• Develop tooling to safely execute manual workflows such as dispute resolution and KYC overrides
• Create interfaces that expose transaction trails and vital system data without requiring manual database queries
  Implement strict Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to ensure staff only access authorized data
• Rapidly prototype and ship functional features to solve immediate operational bottlenecks
• Maintain internal security standards and audit trails for all manual interventions
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and iterate on tooling.
  Required competency and skillset to be a waver
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 5-9 years of software engineering experience with full-stack or backend capabilities
• Strong understanding of internal security principles, authorization frameworks, and RBAC
• Ability to prioritize speed-to-delivery and operational efficiency over pixel-perfect user interfaces
• Experience building admin dashboards, internal portals, or CRM integrations
• Solid knowledge of databases and the ability to translate complex SQL requirements into secure API endpoints
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate directly with non-engineering stakeholders.
