Job  Title:Quality Assurance Officer

Job Summary

  • The Quality Assurance Officer is responsible for ensuring that all products, packaging materials, and production processes comply with the company’s quality, food safety, and regulatory standards.
  • The role supports product development, packaging material validation, quality audits, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure consistent product quality and customer satisfaction.
    Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct finished goods audits to ensure compliance with quality specifications and company standards.
  • Support the evaluation and approval of new packaging materials and product development initiatives.
  • Perform quality analysis of packaging materials and pre-purchase samples to ensure regulatory and quality compliance.
  • Coordinate regulatory submissions and ensure all certifications and approvals are renewed within required timelines.
  • Conduct routine product quality inspections in the trade and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and submit quality audit, packaging development, and customer feedback reports within established timelines.
  • Support investigations into quality issues and monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Marketing, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to maintain product quality and compliance.

    Requirements
    Educational Qualification
  • B.Sc./B.Tech. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Food Science, or a related discipline.
    Experience:
  • 1–2 years’ experience in Quality Assurance within the food, beverage, FMCG, or manufacturing industry.
  • Experience with food and beverage production processes is an added advantage.
    Key Competencies:
  • Knowledge of quality assurance principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and report writing.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe applications.
  • Ability to  work effectively with cross-functional teams.
