Job Summary

  • We are seeking a Database Administrator (SQL Server) – Fund Fusion to manage, maintain, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases while providing technical support for the Fund Fusion application
  • The successful candidate will ensure database performance, security, availability, disaster recovery, reporting, and seamless application support within a financial services environment.
    Key Responsibilities
  • Administer, monitor, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases to ensure high performance, availability, and reliability.
  • Perform database performance tuning, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery testing.
  • Administer and support the Fund Fusion application, including troubleshooting, updates, patches, and configuration management.
  • Collaborate with the application vendor (CVI) on issue resolution, upgrades, and system enhancements.
  • Implement and maintain database security, user access controls, and compliance with security standards.
  • Develop and maintain reports using SSRS or equivalent reporting tools and automate reporting processes where applicable.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and user guides.
  • Provide second-level support, user training, and technical guidance on database and Fund Fusion best practices.
    Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in SQL Server Database Administration, Database Management, or Enterprise Application Support.
  • Hands-on experience administering Microsoft SQL Server environments, including performance tuning, backup, recovery, and security.
  • Experience with SSRS (or equivalent reporting tools) and database monitoring.
  • Experience supporting Fund Fusion or similar financial/investment management applications is an added advantage.
    Salary
    N350,000 – N450,000 monthly (Net).
