Job Summary

• A leading Nigerian school offering a blended Nigerian and Cambridge curriculum is seeking exceptional talent.
  Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver Food and Nutrition lessons in line with the approved curriculum.
• Teach students the principles of nutrition, meal planning, food preparation, food safety, and healthy living.
• Organize and supervise practical food preparation sessions while ensuring  adherence to  health and safety standards.
• Develop lesson plans that combine theoretical knowledge with practical application.
• Assess students’ academic and practical performance and provide constructive  feedback.
• Prepare students for WAEC, NECO, and internal examinations.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement.
• Foster students’ understanding of healthy eating habits and the relationship between nutrition and overall well-being.
• Create an engaging learning environment that encourages creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking.
  Requirements
• Degree in Home Economics, Food and Nutrition, Education, or a related field.
• Relevant teaching certification may be required.
• Experience teaching Food and Nutrition at the secondary school level is preferred.
• Strong practical food preparation and nutrition knowledge.
• Good classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to effectively manage practical laboratory and kitchen activities.
• Familiarity with both the Nigerian and Cambridge curricula is an added advantage.
• TRCN certification is an added advantage.
