Job Title: Instrumentation Technician
Location: Sango Ota, Ogun
Purpose of Job
- To install, maintain, calibrate, and repair electrical and instrumentation systems and equipment for accurate and reliable operation, and support efficient production process.
Principal Accountabilities - Diagnose,monitor,and perform regular maintenance and calibration of instrumentation and control system, to ensure accuracy, reliability,and optimal performance equipment.
- Repair faults in electrical and instrumentation systems to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production process operation.
- Work closely with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to support operational needs, coordinated efforts, and timely resolution of issues.
- Adheres to safety protocols and ensures compliance with industry standards and regulations, to maintaina safe working environment and ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
- Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities, calibrations, and repairs to provide traceability, support, and facilitate continuous improvement.
Key Performance Indicators - Downtime due to instrumentation failure
- Calibration accuracy
- Repair effectiveness
- Safety incident rate
- Response time to issues
- Maintenance compliance.
Job Requirements
Education: Minimum requirement: Minimum of B.Sc. / HND in Electrical Engineering
Experience: Minimum requirement: Minimum of 2 years cognate experience
Professional (Memberships &Certification) Minimum requirement: NIEEE, NSE, COREN.
