Job Title: Specialist, Settlement and Reconciliation

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities

• Transaction Matching: Verify that incoming and outgoing transaction records from back-office systems match subsidiary ledgers.
• Dispute Resolution: Investigate discrepancies (“breaks”) and resolve electronic transfer and payment issues with banks and partners.
• Account Balancing: Forecast and balance daily movements on bank accounts using advanced spreadsheets.
• Reporting: Assist with month-end and year-end closes while preparing management reports.
  Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a banking-related role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERPs, and accounting software.
• High mathematical aptitude, attention to detail, and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
