Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Business Partner to support our Marine Services business.
  • The successful candidate will partner with business leaders to deliver effective workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and HR service delivery initiatives across operational locations.
  • The ideal candidate must have experience supporting operational, technical, project-based, or field workforce environments and possess strong stakeholder management skills.
    Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with business leaders to develop and implement workforce planning initiatives.
  • Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, deployment, and retention activities.
  • Manage employee relations issues, disciplinary matters, grievances, and conflict resolution processes.
  • Support performance management, employee engagement, and talent development initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and support on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related matters.
  • Support succession planning and workforce capability development programmes.
  • Monitor employee movements and workforce requirements across operational locations.
  • Prepare HR reports, workforce analytics, and management information reports.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, internal policies, and HR best practices.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    Requirements
    Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences, Management, or a related discipline.
    Professional Certification:
  • Candidates must possess at least one of the following professional HR certifications:CIPM
  • SHRM
  • HRCI
  • CIPD
    Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Marine, Oil & Gas, Logistics, Technical Operations, Outsourcing, or Project-Based Workforce environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ overall HR experience.
  • Experience in Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Workforce Planning, Performance Management, and HR Operations.
  • Experience supporting operational and technical workforce populations.
  • Experience working across multiple locations will be an advantage.

    Location Requirement:
  • Applicants must currently reside within the Port Harcourt or Bonny Axis.
    Salary
    N400,000 – N500,000 / month.
