First Star Public Health Services is a consultancy firm concerned with Environmental Sanitation, Pest & Vector Control, Occupational Health Safety & Audit, System Development & Management, Capacity Building & System, Strengthening for food safety & environmental Health Response, Environmental Hazard Prevention & Control, Environmental impact assessment, environmental auditing, Urban structure,hydraulics & environment, telecoms trading, sales and distribution of general goods & general contractors.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Public Health Nurse

Location: Kubwa, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in occupational and community health activities
• Conduct health education sessions and audits for individuals and corporate clients
• Perform pre-employment and periodic medical tests: vitals, BMI, vision/hearing screens, specimen collection, basic diagnostics
• Document findings accurately and flag risks/referrals to physicians when needed
• Counsel clients on lifestyle, preventive care, and workplace health risks
• Maintain client confidentiality and comply with NMCN and MOH standards
• Assist in monitoring environmental and public health compliance
• Work collaboratively with public health and environmental health teams

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an HND / Degree with 2 years experience.
• Must be a Registered Nurse/Public Health Nurse
• Valid practicing license is mandatory
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in field operations
• Basic reporting and documentation skills
• Previous public/community health experience is an added advantage

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Occasional field assignments as required

Salary
N120,000 / Month.
