We manufacture different drugs for improve livestock’s health. Our product is specially tailored to suit the environmental sustainability of livestock’s within Nigeria. Our animal health products undergo rigorous quality control to be certified fit for use on farm animals.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Production Manager

Location: Agege, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Production Manager will oversee all manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production processes, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • The role requires a strong leader with hands-on experience in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Execution:

  • Plan, organise, and manage daily production activities to meet output targets
  • Develop and implement production schedules in line with demand forecasts
  • Ensure optimal utilisation of manpower, machinery, and materials
  • Monitor production performance and implement improvements

Quality & Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory standards
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams
  • Ensure all production processes meet required safety and quality standards
  • Maintain proper documentation and batch records

Process Optimisation & Efficiency:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
  • Monitor production KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Optimise production costs while maintaining product quality

Team Leadership & Supervision:

  • Lead, supervise, and develop production staff
  • Ensure proper training and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance

Equipment & Maintenance:

  • Ensure proper operation and maintenance of production equipment
  • Collaborate with the engineering and maintenance team to minimise downtime
  • Plan preventive maintenance schedules

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):

  • Enforce strict compliance with health and safety policies
  • Ensure a safe working environment for all staff
  • Conduct safety audits and risk assessments

Inventory & Materials Management:

  • Coordinate with the supply chain to ensure the availability of raw materials
  • Monitor inventory levels and minimise production disruptions
  • Reduce wastage and ensure proper material handling

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Prepare and present production reports daily, weekly, monthly
  • Track production metrics and provide performance insights to management
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
  • A master’s degree is an added advantage
  • 8 to 12 years’ experience in production or manufacturing
  • At least 3 to 5 years in a managerial role
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, animal health, or regulated manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of GMP and regulatory standards
